Refund and Cancellation Policy

 Introduction

At GTT (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, we aim to deliver exceptional travel experiences. We understand, however, that plans may change. This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and complaint handling to ensure transparency.

Government Restrictions or Natural Disasters

  • In the event of travel bans, government restrictions, or natural disasters, payments for both group and customized tours will not be refunded. However, the full payment can be reused for another tour or the same tour within 5 months from the original booking date, provided you inform us in advance.

 Customized Tours

Non-Refundable Payments
– Payments for customized tours are **strictly non-refundable**, no matter how far in advance the cancellation is made. Whether you cancel a few days, weeks or months before the departure, no refund will be provided. Means Payments made for customized tours are non-refundable under any circumstances, whether it’s due to customer-related issues (such as illness, visa problems, personal emergencies) or unforeseen circumstances (like government restrictions or travel bans).

Payment Reuse
– If you cancel your customized tour, you may reuse the full payment for a future tour within 5 months from the original booking, provided that you inform us in advance.

– The new booking must offer equivalent services to the original tour.

 

Group Tours

Refundable Payments
– For group tours, cancellations made 7 days or more before the departure date are eligible for a refund, minus a processing fee.

Non-Refundable Payments
– Cancellations within 7 days of departure are not eligible for a refund.

– If you fail to notify us of the cancellation or changes before the departure date (a no-show), the payment will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Payment Reuse
– In cases of personal reasons, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances (like natural disasters), group tour payments can be reused within 5 months, provided that the cancellation is communicated in advance.


Refund Process

Eligible refunds (group tours only) will be processed within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method, and a confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp, email, or phone.


Important Notes

– Advance notification is essential for any refund or reuse of payments.
– Reused payments must be applied within 5 months of the original booking date.
– Customized tours are non-refundable, regardless of how early you cancel.
– Payments reused must be for services or accommodations equivalent to the original tour.


Legal Disclaimer

– GTT (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED is not liable for trip disruptions caused by external factors such as natural disasters or government restrictions.
– The non-refundable clause for customized tours applies even in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
– Legal disputes will be addressed under the jurisdiction of Punjab courts.

3. Receive an acknowledgment email with a complaint reference number.

For trip changes, cancellations, or refunds:

2. Send a message with your booking reference, the nature of your request (change, cancellation, or refund), and relevant details.
3. Receive an acknowledgment message with a case reference number. Our representative will respond within 24 hours.


Complaint Handling Process

All complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours via email or WhatsApp. Our team will investigate the complaint, review booking details, and contact service providers. Resolutions for website issues take 3 business days, while trip changes or cancellations are processed within 5 business days.


Escalation Process

If unsatisfied with the resolution:
1. Reply to the acknowledgment email or WhatsApp message to escalate the issue.
2. A senior representative will review your case and respond within 48 hours.
